• SMWC, Inc. is a management company for trusts, LLCs, and a private foundation. Sam Caspersen, a Harvard Law School alumnus, is the president of SMWC.  

• Sam has 15 years of experience as a family office principal, with a focus on private investments (as an LP and directs) and operations.  

• He also is co-founder of the law firm Kagen, Caspersen & Bogart and serves as outsourced general counsel to several boutique alternative investment managers.  

• Sam previously practiced law in Sullivan & Cromwell's private clients group,  He also served as investigative counsel on the federal 9/11 Commission and was primary author of one chapter of the 9/11 Commission Report.
